I ran around HubPages reading for months before I joined. Reading has always been a passion. I was fascinated with the idea that I could make comments to these writers. Then one day I decided to join and wrote a hub. Wow, I was hooked. My friends that I had made all came to read and left me such nice comments. I loved that I got nice comments from people about my writing. All I had ever written were things for school.

Now I am discovering that I love to write. I have written about my life and my children and the fun things that we have done. I wrote a three part story of our life while we were fighting to get my husband his disability from the VA. I also included my fight against Graves disease and the depression that comes with it. I wrote about having breast cancer. I can't quit writing.

I have recently begun writing reviews of the fantastic fiction which can be found on HubPages. I hope that I can steer you to a new writer that you have not known before. There are so many great fiction writers on here and I would love to be acquainted with all of them. If you know of some great fiction that I have not written about, let me know.

I have been married to my husband for 26 years and we have three children. The oldest has four children. My youngest, Katy, writes on HubPages now as Katy Katz. We shortened our last name because it is a thirteen letter German doozy.

I was raised in Reno, NV; but have been in TN for 9 years now. We have lived all over the country in the time we have been married.

I am interested in reading, antiques, my family, crafts, alternative building styles, and animals. Very eclectic list. I know a little about a lot of things and a lot about some things. I have a very wide reading interest.
